I left you in the softest room and the question is:
did I think it through?
When I say I'm gonna go to town, I really go to town
That's what I said
When I say I grind my knuckles down, I really grind 'em down
That's what I said
If that's what I said, then that's what I said
I left you in the softest room:
1) if I had been untrue it's the hardest room
2) with the curtains strewn, they were powder blue
3) with my attitude, it was hurting you
4) with my attitude
Dammit every track makes me smile. How did you do that? If a friend recommends this album to you, hang on to them because they're just as fabulously messed up as you are. I'd like to thank my bank for allowing me to buy things online again. Thank you. Everyone. Thanks. duskbringer
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
Boston band featuring members of Have Heart and Basement take their earnest, motivational post-hardcore to thrilling new heights. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 23, 2023
Tacoma's Karass whittled these bleak dream-pop gems from free-form jams, and the rhythms that rattle through them have a live energy. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2021
Hearing this was like discovering Desire, or London Calling for the first time. Derivative yet original, the songs are immediate and the melodies will get stuck in your ear for days. tideracer
